HEDVIG’S WAY

Filmer and editor for freeride skier Hedvig Wessel’s Youtube series.

We first shot a ski and sail experience in the Norwegian fjords with fellow athletes Caroline Stromberg, Sandra Lahnsteiner and Evelina Nilsson. This episode gives a deeper understanding of who Hedvig is and what she needs to do in order to reach her goal and become the Freeride World Champion. « More than Skiing » was shown at the Shades of Winter FilmFest of 2019, where we shot a second episode about the Film Tour and kicking off the Winter Season in 2019.

Through her social channels, Hedvig wants to inspire young girls to push their limits and jump bigger than their brothers. 

Hedvig was looking for a female filmmaker, I was looking for outdoor shooting experience. The making of the two episodes we shot together remains a significant chapter in the start of my career as a camerawoman and my interest in alpine documentary making.
